Makrilies Beach

Makrilies: On the way to Pahia Ammos you will find a beach used mostly by the islanders, the so-called Makrilies. It’s a beach with stones, but it has got clear and maybe the warmest waters of the island. The area offers lodgings; a tavern and only one kilometer above you will find the village Lakkoma. It took its name from the many olive groves that exist in the surrounding area.
