Aromatic Plants
Many aromatic plants and herbs grow everywhere in the mountains, in coastal areas and farmlands of Samothraki. Previously they were widely used for their pharmaceutical and beneficial properties, but even nowadays everyone will have a cup of sage, peppermint and chamomile or will use oregano and thyme to spice their foods.
