Remains of a prehistoric burial mounds

In southwest beach, on the banks of the stream Polypoudi, at the place of Mikro Vouni prehistoric mound findings have been discovered in an area of 10 acres. Dating from the end of the 6th millennium BC until about 1700 BC. The most important of these findings are the fillings and an inscription in Linear A.
