Chora – Samothraki Village

The capital of the island is amphitheatrically built on a slope of mountain Saos, framed with two forts. It is a traditional village with cobblestone streets, which is a whole 1.000 years old monument. It is the village that mainly during the evening hours it will enchant you by walking in picturesque alleys and listening to alternative music. In a prominent position one of the towers of Gattiluzzi dominates which is a medieval castle that is worth visiting. You can also visit the folklore museum that contains important exhibits of cultural heritage of the island.
